Interested JAMP Applicants
Application
The JAMP application for Entry Year 2022 will open between May 3, 2021 at 8:00 a.m. Central Time and will close on October 1, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. Central Time. Applicants and interested students in applying should be in contact with their JAMP Faculty Director. The JAMP Faculty Director can provide you assistance with the application process. Contact information for your JFD is listed under “Find My JFD”.
SAT/ACT
At this point, either a SAT or ACT score will be required for the entry year 2022 JAMP application. However, the JAMP Council is aware that there may arise a situation where an applicant is unable to meet this requirement as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants in this scenario will have their situations reviewed by the JAMP Council on an individual basis.

Summer Internships
For the health and safety of our students, the JAMP Summer Internships will consist
of a four-week virtual experience in partnership with the participating medical schools
within our program. Assignments will be sent out to students via e-mail.

Pass/Fail
The JAMP Council has agreed to allow flexibility on courses taken as Pass/Fail during the Spring 2020 semester for JAMP criteria. This exception is being made for JAMP students currently in the program and those students that will be applying as new applicants this year (2020).
Spring 2020 Coursework
Courses that originally began as in-person, and were transitioned to an online format due to Covid-19, should be classified as regular courses (RC) rather than as distance learning (DL).
Chemistry Lab Requirement
To better serve our student population, the JAMP Council has agreed to allow flexibility with applicants to JAMP in 2020 (Entry Year 2021) who are unable to complete the General Chemistry I & II lab application requirements as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants must still fulfill the General Chemistry I & II lecture requirement and must successfully complete General Chemistry I & II labs as soon as they become available at their institution. Current JAMP Students
MCAT
Instructions will be provided in May to JAMP students originally scheduled to take the MCAT on April 4, 2020. These instructions will be sent to the e-mail address on file with JAMP. Until that time, JAMP students are encouraged to continue their MCAT preparation utilizing the resources provided by JAMP.

Extended TMDSAS Application Deadline
JAMP students scheduled to submit their TMDSAS application originally by May 15, 2020 must now submit their TMDSAS Application by June 5, 2020.
Extended Medical School Secondary Applications Deadline
JAMP students scheduled to submit their Secondary applications originally by May 22, 2020 must now submit their Secondary applications by June 5, 2020.
